Bully - Animation

Today in LS2 we have been talking about bullying. We did this because we are old enough to learn how to stick up for ourselves. If you see someone who is getting bullied, remember to help the victim or you will be as bad as the bully. If you are being bullied use your WITS. They are walk away, ignore, tell someone and stand up. I created this animation with Oh Hsen, Shannon and Daniel.

Why it's Great to Be Me?

It's great to be me because I can set myself, if I continue to work hard. We had to find out a bit more about ourselves. One thing I found out about myself was that, I wanted to do really well in college. We then, got into groups and made a word cloud on why it is great to be the age we are currently(11 - 13).

Capitalisation DLO

 

In my writing we had to complete a task on capitalisation. I found this task very easy. I also enjoyed this activity. One thing I found hard this activity was if the places mention was relevant enough to be capital letters. 

Tech

Today at tech we finally finished our clock designs. Everyone got their designs painted. Today most people only had a little bit to paint left. After we painted it, we got our side pieces glued. Mrs Anderson and Ms Ferguson, placed the mechanism on our clocks. This is my final design for my clock. I am looking forward to our next rotation.

Careers DLO - Game Developer

In LS2 we have been exploring careers. Recently we completed a careers quiz. At the end it recommend a bunch of jobs we should do. One of the ones I got recommend was Game Developer. I was interested in that. We then needed to make a DLO on the career we found most interesting. I found a lot of interesting facts. There are also a few requirements you need to meet if you want to become a game developer. 

Writing - Apostrophes

 

For writing today, we have been learning the two different apostrophes. Our first task was to complete the contractions. I found this task very easy, because I managed to complete it within 5 minutes. Our next task was to show the possession. After we had finished that we had to do our task on capitalisation. The last thing we did was chose one to blog about. I decided to choose this because it was the easiest.
