This is my current events DLO. I think this was interesting. I did this because I wanted to know what interesting is going on. 

Reading can do - word clines

This is my word clines reading can do. I had to choose a boring word and as it goes up the line it has to be more interesting. I did this to learn new words. I learnt synonyms for silly.

Reading can do - Word cline

This is my reading can do on word cline. I had to start with a normal word then as I go up the line it had to get more interesting. I did this because I wanted to learn new words for easy words. I learnt some new words for good and big.  

Reading can do - Current events

I did a current events activity. This topic was daylight saving ended. The time is now one hour back. E.G if you wake up at 8:00 you will wake up at 7:00. I did this because I wanted to find something interesting news in kiwi kids news.

This is my reading can do story scavenger hunt I did with Cyrus. The article we read was Seeds for birds. This time my favourite one was an interesting facts because I thought the fact was really interesting. I did this because I was interested in the article.

Reading can do - Story map

Cyrus, Rodney and I did a reading can do. This time we did an even bigger challenge. We had to think of a story we've read. Next we had to write our script because we needed to explain the story using voice recorder. After that we had to draw what happens. The last we needed to do was record ourslves say our script. This is my current events can do for reading. I came across a really interesting article. The question I enjoyed answering was why it happened because it was challenging. I did this because the article was interesting. I learnt that flies fill a vital role in the environment.

Reading - Can do Scavenger Hunt

This is my reading can do. I had to answer some questions. I read the article Unwanted Visitors the second to last question is a made up answer. I did this because I wanted to know more about wasps and make sure that I read the article properly. I learnt that a wasp has three body parts.

This is my reading can do. I had to find three words, write the meaning in my own words, find the interesting word in the sentence and find some synonyms for it. I couldn't find any synonyms for honeydew. I did this because I wanted to learn new words. I learnt new words and some synonyms for them.
