For this Winter Learning Journey activity I had to read about how people in New Zealand are trying to get rid of pests such as Possums. After I had read why they want to get rid of them, I had to write why I agree.
1. They are eating a kokako's (endangered NZ bird) eggs.
3. They are doing a lot of damage to our native trees.

ReplyDeleteThese are 3 really good points as to why we should make New Zealand pest free! Apparently possums eat 21,000 leaves a night. So over time, they would surely be killing off many trees!
