I did word web. I choose the word pulverise it means to beat someone up really bad or doing it to something. I did this because I didn't know what it meant. I learnt what pulverise mean.

Each part of a book has a special name which you need to be a familiar with.

Index = Alphabetical list of all the topics in a book with the page number where the information can be found.

End papers = The first and last pages of a book.

Illustrator = The person who prepared or drew the pictures.

Introduction = Information about the book found at the beginning of a book.

Author = The person who wrote the book.

Glossary =  List of special words used in the book with their correct meanings.

I did parts of a book you have to put the right word that fits in the sentence. I did this because I wanted to try it. I learnt parts of a book.

Powtoon Simple machines

I made a Powtoon on simple machines I had to record myself summarising what I learned. I did this because it sounded fun. I learnt that simple machines need a force to make it work.

I did word web today I chose a difficult word this time it was Avenge. I did this because I felt like I needed to chose a harder word. I learnt really good synonyms for Avenge.

I commented on Zahn's, Santat's and Manu's blog here are the comments. I did this because I haven't commented in a long time and I felt like I needed to. I learnt that I needed to comment a lot more.

This is my poster for simple machines I just had to put images on and make it look good. I did this because I wanted to make an awesome poster. I learnt how to make the words look better.

This is my simple machines poster. I had to find information about all six simple machines write it down, put images and then change the colour. I did this because I didn't know anything about simple machines and I wanted to know. I learnt that simple machines helps you do your work easier.

Number stones

This is a game called Number stones it's a Math game. You play with counters or beans. There is a person that calls a question to someone and they have to answer if the get it right they get to choose how much counters to put on you can only choose 1-3 counters and then put it of the squares. To capture a piece you have to surround them like this.

Addition triangle

I did Addition triangle you have to type you first 5 numbers on the first row then you go on the second row and you add the two numbers below. I did this because I wanted to improve on my maths Addition. I learnt my Addition faster it took me 1 minute and eighteen  seconds.

I did subtraction triangle you have to type you first 5 numbers on the first row then you go on the second row and you subtract the two numbers below. I did this because I wanted to improve on my Subtraction. I learnt my Subtraction faster it took me 1 minute and thirty three seconds.

I did Word Web You have to choose a word from a book you read then find synonyms and write it in the circle. I did this because I wanted to learn new words for furious so I can use them. I learnt new words for furious.

Difficult parts in a text

I had to read a book from Sunshine classics it was Unsolved mysteries. We only had to read three stories. Next I had to go on realtimeboard and write the difficulty, the meaning and evidence. I did this because I wanted to understand the difficult parts of a text. I learnt difficult parts of the text and know how to explain it easier. 

Confess meaning and synonyms

This is a Word web. to do this task you have to pick a word you don't know and then you find synonyms on that word. I did this because I didn't understand the word and when I checked the dictionary I didn't understand what it meant so I did the synonyms. I learnt that new words for Confess and the meaning for Confess.

Holiday recount

Movies Watching The Maze Runner Scorch Trials

In the holidays I went to the movies I watched, The Maze Runner Scorch Trials with my brother and Santat. We had to get our food from Pak'nsave and make it to Cinema 6 before 1:40. We made it in time. There were lots of Ads. The Ads took 20 minutes.

Finally the movie started, It started of with Thomas and his friends going to Wickets. The people that told them it was a good place were lying. They take ten people a day to a room they said it was safe. Thomas and his friends found out what they were actually doing and left Wickets. Thomas and his friends found a place the thought that it was safe. After a few minutes zombies came out. Thomas and his friends found an escape way. Before the escaped one of their friends got stung. Thomas and his friends left him behind because he would have turned into a zombie. Thomas and his friends found two people and they decided that they should team up. Thomas and his friends found more people and teamed up. One of Thomas’s friend Teresa called Wickets and told them where they were. Wicket’s army came and took everyone that was Thomas’s friend were taken back. Thomas said he’s going to get revenge. Movie 3 is when Thomas gets revenge. Movie three is coming out at 2016.

After the movie Ohsmar went to buy bubble gum because he had 90 cents left. After we bought bubble gum we went to sterling sport and looked around we saw cool stuff I really wanted a Barcelona kit. After we had looked around sterling sport we went to JB HI FI. Again we saw awesome stuff I really wanted Fifa 16. We started getting bored so my brother called my dad to pick us up.

I watched The Maze runner over the holidays it was awesome. I went to the movies because I don't watch much movies and I felt like going. I learnt that you have to help your friends because the will appreciate it and they will help you to.

Type of book: Novel, Mysteries and Action.

I would recommend this book to Daniel because he is interested in action and he's a bit curious. Daniel will like this book because the main character Thomas is stubborn.
