Heart Foundation Lesson

Room 9 had the Heart foundation Lesson. Our class learnt a lot. The person that was teaching us was Ms Orangi. The first thing we learnt was we need to eat a variety of colours everyday and before you play a sport. Then Ms Orangi drew a food pyramid and asked us what goes at the top we said salt, sugar and fat. Ms Orangi asked us what goes at the bottom Eric answered cereals he was right. She told us how much we eat a day it was 6-8 servings. She told us one thing that is important it's better if only eat oats and Wheat Bix for breakfast. After that we learnt how much sugar in the drinks we drink. It was unexpected I thought Sprite had more sugarr than Coke. I learnt a lot a bout food.
