Winter Learning Journey

For this Winter Learning Journey activity I had to form my own opinion about people fishing in Farewell Spit. I think that we should ban people from fishing at Farewell Spit because a lot of Hector dolphins are getting killed by fishing nets. If this continues, it's most likely for them to go extinct. They should find another place to fish.

  1. Hi Oh Hsen,
It's great seeing you form your own opinion. I would also agree with you because each day the Hector Dolphins are getting killed.

  2. Hello Oh Hsen, I agree with you one hundred percent. It is true that since Hector's dolphins are endangered they can possibly become extinct if we continue to fish there. Keep on working hard during the holidays and stay focused.

  3. Hi Oh Hsen
Like AJ, I agree with you 100%. Those poor Hector's dolphins are getting killed by accident and people can just fish somewhere else. Good job Oh Hsen.

  4. Hi Oh Hsen,
Like Aj and Daniel, I agree with you 100%. The hector dolphin are getting killed, and people don't care about them. Great Work!

  5. Hey Oh Hsen!

You're absolutely right! They should find other places to fish rather than where the Hector Dolphins live. It would be very sad to see them go extinct from something that could have been helped.

  6. Hi Oh Hsen
I agree! It isn't the Dolphins fault that they get caught, all they see is fish, and since they eat fish it draws them into the nets.
