Winter Learning Journey - Olympics Logo

It is time to get creative! For this bonus activity you are asked to design a simple logo for the next Summer Olympic Games. They will be held in Tokyo, Japan in 2020. The Olympic committee in Japan has already created four possible options for the logo (see below) but I think that you can create something even more interesting and attractive!

For this active I had to create a logo for Olympics 2016. This is for the bonus round.

  1. Hi Oh Hsen,

I really like the logo that you have created. It is very colourful and includes a very important series of images alongside the Olympic rings. For this activity we are hoping that you would create a logo for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. To earn the points for this activity, you will need to tweak your logo to say 'Tokyo 2020' rather than 'Rio 2016.'

I'll check back in in a few days to see if you've been able to tweak the logo. Hopefully it will be a pretty simple change!

Thanks, Oh Hsen. Keep up the great work!

    Rachel :)

  2. Hi Oh Hsen
I have read through your Winter Learning Journey posts and can see that you have found out a lot of new information that will support your learning next term. This logo is fantastic! I really like your design and colour choices. What does it stand for? To help your readers make a connection to your design you need to explain the meaning behind it. Keep up the great blogging.
