This holidays our school is participating in the Winter Learning Journey. The theme for this term is Ancient Olympics. This is my first activity I have done. I had to imagine I was alive 2792 years ago and choose which sport I would want to compete in.

Like you, I also would have chosen the running events because they are my favourite. I try to get out and go for a run at least twice a week but during the winter months it is a bit harder! I'm not a huge fan of running in the dark or the cold! I am actually from Canada so I should be much better about running in the cold than I actually am. It is often as cold as -30 degrees in Canada in the winter. It makes the winter in Auckland look positively warm by comparison!

ReplyDeleteNice clear understand of why you picked running. I also did that activity but I didn't choose running. I hope you go for a run at least once a day but if you want to find out the one I chose you will have to go on my blog and check it out and leave a comment. Keep up the great work.
